Switching to Firefox.

Firefox! Firefox ! Everywhere I go people are switching to firefox
browser and leaving my "old and trusted"? internet explorer behind.
One thing I like about firefox though, is that it is fast. Sometimes
too fast. It's like the browser is impatient to get to it's
destination and back. Sometimes it comes back empty handed. You
have send it back before it understands you really need the
information and then it get's it. This makes me remember IE that
will wait patiently forever to get you the information required.
Anyway, I switched to Firefox, I'm not one to be left behind. But
I like surfing with my pagerank and alexa indicators in tow. So I installed
Google Pagerank status 0.9.3 by Stephane Querand and Searchstatus
1.5 by Craig Raw. They are both addons to the Firefox browser. The first, displays the Google pagerank in your
status bar and the second displays both the Google pagerank and Alexa
popularity in your browser, along with options for
backward/related/category links, alexa info etc. If you want them
all you do is go to the sites with your latest Firefox 1.0.1 browser and
directly install the indicators, close your browser and open it again
you will see the indicators on your status bar.

Came across the word, trackback, for the first time, when I read an article by Tinu Abayomi Paul in site-reference.com She was explaining how you can use trackback to drive traffic to your site or blog. At first reading I did not fully understand what she was explaining. But in the article she suggested that anyone with a blog can implement trackback using the free service at haloscan.com and that is exactly what I did. From there I got educated about trackback and what it can do now and in the future. In a nutshell trackback is a way to remotely comment on another person's blog. Understand ? if you don't go here beginner's guide to trackback

Building content for your website is one of the very important elements of search engine optimization. New content attracts the search engines and ensures your site is spidered constantly. But this aspect of SEO is not easy. Generating ideas for content and building a constant stream of quality content is a dificult task indeed. However, one place that I go to look for free quality content that I can modify without the restrictions of the "all rights reserved" is the creative commons search engine. There you can search for creative commons audio, images, text, video and other formats that are free to share online. Check it out and use it to search the web for ready made content for your website. At the site you will find this...

"Full copyright applies to most stuff on the web. But this search helps you find photos, music, text, and other works whose authors want you to re-use it for some uses -- without having to pay or ask permission. "

So what are you waiting for?
