Which ebook format?
There are several ebook formats. Some are PDF, HTML, Microsoft Reader,
Palm Reader, Gemstar, Hiebook, Mobipocket, Text etc. Before compiling

Downloading the reader can be frustrating to new comers to the Internet. Also your text and graphics have to be converted to pdf too. PDF is supposed to be printed out for reading and not meant to be read online. Fonts look fuzzy online. PDF is especially good for scientific and research papers. It does not compare to the fast loading of HTML and the vertical scrolling is irritating. This is why PDF cannot be in place of HTML.
Also if you mistakenly click on a download pdf link your Internet Explorer automatically opens the document if you have acrobat reader installed on your PC. This means you have to wait for it to finish loading, close it then right click the same link to save. If you are on a dial up this could be frustrating. And your computer could freeze if the ebook file is large.
The pdf format using the acrobat requires a long learning curve while the html format is easy to use.
